Important: HBEF Board Announces New Child Sponsorship Fees

HBEF would like to announce the revision of its child sponsorship fees from an annual fee of $540 to $650, which comes into effect in the next sponsorship year 2012.

This increment has been occasioned by the rising global inflation that has made it more and more difficult to stretch donations as far as they used to go, particularly during the first year of secondary school. We have therefore had to put in some additional resources in the last few months to cater for uniforms, books, school supplies and psychosocial support. To be able to continue to achieve our mission of enabling bright but needy children access education through the award of scholarships, we have had to revise our sponsorship fees.

In order to give opportunity to many people that would like to give but cannot afford the annual sponsorship fees we have also come up with different giving packages, through which individuals/groups can lend their support. See ways to give.
